Food Bank Distribution

Last month, we served for three days at the CHS Oakland Food Pantry as an experiment. As we reflected on the experience, we began to know our neighbors better, to feel more connected to each other, and to notice the presence of God in the practice of sharing free food. We’ve been invited to continue serving there, and are taking sign-ups now for the month of September! There will be two shifts on Wednesdays from 2-4pm and 4-6pm. Here’s the link!
