When we started using Zoom for church gatherings, it created an amazing opportunity to stay connected with Commonwealth participants who have moved away from Pittsburgh. But as great as online church is for keeping people connected, the feeling is sometimes not as strong for those who can only attend online. So we created Expats!

This monthly small group holds space for people who have moved away from Pittsburgh to stay connected, catch up, process their transitions, and figure out what spirituality looks like in their new contexts.  This group spans two continents and three timezones!

This meeting is for anyone who is part of The Commonwealth community and now lives too far away to meet in-person. Because this gathering is meant for Expats to support each other, it is only for these people. Expats can also attend any of our hybrid events!
