Discussion Groups
Monday nights at 7pm
Onsite & Online
If you are looking for a place to think deeply about your faith, we've got you covered on Monday nights.
The format changes from time to time, but whether it's a Bible study, a book group, or a class these deep conversations are always wondering about how to be faithful in the 21st century and beyond.
"Deconstruction" is a term a lot of us use to describe the process of unlearning harmful beliefs and practices that we inherited. But we're also invested in reconstruction: re-imagining the future of Christianity with more life-giving beliefs and practices.
Fortunately, there are thought leaders who have been deconstructing and reconstructing Christianity for a long time, especially queer and BIPOC Christians. Our exploration is often inspired by their wisdom.
Some of our favorite conversations have been about: sexual ethics without purity culture; finding worship songs that don't make us cringe; discussing the spiritual dimensions of the vampire show Midnight Mass; making the Lord's Supper feel more meaningful; reforming the cash bail system; and queering Christianity.
