Hopepunk is a story-telling trend that "weaponizes optimism!" It's all about resisting evil while holding on to your humanity at all costs. Hopepunk heroes value community-building, positive social change, their own feelings, and the long, hard work of human progress.

Through this season we're exploring the values of hopepunk alongside the themes of Advent: faith, hope, love and joy. And we're doing that by reading A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers and putting it into conversation with Advent readings from the Bible.
